RESERVED FOR MIRANDA Holly Stalder / Kate Towers Creative Sewing Workshop March 5th

Come learn experimental sewing techniques from Holly Stalder and Kate Towers in a small workshop focusing on garment reconstruction and surface design. We will be sharing our ideals of slow fashion and sustainability by using vintage, recycled, and natural fabrics. This one day workshop will have a relaxed atmosphere where we will be drinking tea and listening to music while we get creative in our new space. We will provide a variety of t-shirts, button downs, and vintage pieces as well as extra materials to use for the class. You are also welcome to bring your own garments from home to work on. This is a beginner sewing class, no previous sewing experience necessary. Bringing your own sewing machine is helpful if you have one; otherwise we can provide you with one. Ages 14 and up.
